We are staging what will be the future of kart racing in this area and is already very popular in other parts of the country. A person will purchase a new black 212cc Predator motor from Harbor Freight (http://www.harborfreight.com/) and bring it to us in the sealed box along with $50. You will exchanged your motor for a new one just like it except that the governor has been removed and then sealed so that it can't be tampered with. We will also set up classes just for sealed motors, drum clutches, header pipe & muffler, and spec tires. Our intent is to keep your costs down and have fair and equal racing and we can even advise you on the ideal gearing. You can also race almost all day on a half gallon of gas. Every motor in this class will be the same and if a seal is broken then that motor will have to run in a different class. For a limited time we will have coupons that allow a person to purchase a Predator motor from Harbor Frieght for only $99 or you can obtain them for a limited time on their website. These are available on a first come basis. If you are new to the sport of kart racing this is the perfect place to start. Our first Sealed Clone races were held on April 13th. Our spec tire rule will start on June 1st in order to allow competitors to use up their current tires during May racing. If you have a Greyhound or Lifan 6.5 hp engine, that is new in the box, we can prepare your engine the same as the Predator but please be on notice that your 6.5 hp engine will be competing with the Predator 7 hp engine.

All classes will run the AMP sealed black Predator 7 hp motors, spec clutch, spec tires, spec pipe, and pump gas.

The best gearing setup seems to be 15/62 in the Senior SC classes.

AMP Spec Tire Rule (Sealed Clone Classes)

These are tires that have been tested and approved for competition. Each is a harder long-lasting compound. Our goal is to have tires that last a long time, are inexpensive, and have a durometer reading of 60 or higher at the end of the feature race. We are still testing different tires to see if it's possible and the benchmark of 60 may change based on the results.
